NEW FRAME LINE ALERT! ALIUS
Our newest frame line was born in Chicago, but is all handcrafted in Italy. We are so honored to be bringing Alius to Spectacle Optometry! We can’t wait for you to fall in love with the craftsmanship and quality that this new line brings. We have had our eye on Alius for a while now, so it is exciting to finally be bringing this high-end line to our patients. We recently met with this awesome company to hand select the frames that are now on display in our office. We wanted to give you a peek into the company, our impressions from our meeting, and a preview of what you will see once you check out the new line for yourself at Spectacle!

THE STORY
The company started as an optical in Chicago with over two decades of success in caring for not only their employees, but their partners in the industry and most importantly their patients. This spurred a quest to create a collection that embodies quiet luxury, designed to deliver comfort, style, and confidence. They wanted their eyewear to withstand every day for everyone. Touching and feeling each frame is how you can truly tell their passion. The details and materials are unmatched!
Alius means different in Latin. They take this to heart as they strive to be different than the other brands you may have heard of before. They want to be the ones not like the others and represent a commitment to reshape the eyewear industry.
THE FRAMES
So what makes their frames such great quality? Alius has a few lines, each with a different focus. In their acetate line, it’s the five-barrel hinge, the titanium core, and the double laminated acetate that did it for us. While the titanium frames have the Japanese titanium that is incredibly lightweight, a tension-secured hidden hinge, the engravings, as well as the titanium nosepads. Like other brands we carry, such as Orgreen, we love that each frame line, whether acetate or titanium, has it’s own features that will appeal to a wide-array of our patients. We can’t wait for you to see what we see!

We are excited to bring you a taste of Alius at Spectacle! We hand-selected what we think are the best of the best of what Alius offers to provide you with new options to consider at your next eye exam. As we are getting in on this brand in their early stages, we are looking forward to more and more frame models in the future that are consistent with the craftsmanship, details, and cutting-edge day-today stying and comfort. We are also looking forward to feedback of what our patients love so we can constantly bring new Alius models and lines to our shelves that you are sure to love just as much as we do.
